Certification Strategy for Experienced Skilled Trade Workers in Newfoundland and Labrador

There is a surging demand for certified skilled tradespersons in Newfoundland and Labrador and other parts of the country.

The Department of Education is currently implementing an initiative that aims to increase the labour market supply of skilled tradespersons, specifically Journeypersons, required to meet the surging demand for workers in Newfoundland and Labrador and other parts of the country.

You can increase your ability to find greater employment opportunities by gaining journeyperson certification issued by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Department of Education can assist you in working towards certification in a designated trade.
